AN AMBITIUS PROJECT: ELD Plus

The analysis of tests data of E.L.D. shielding raceway has realized the opportunity to obtain a residual induction of 0,3 µT at a distance of 1,50 meters, taking as a power source a power line underground going through a phase current of 1600 A.
The project is called “E.L.D. Plus” and is divided into several phases.
The first, already underway, involves the planning and construction of a new G-iron configuration which will be tested in G-Iron System laboratories (our site of Arezzo).
The results will give real answers and guidance on project feasibility.
